Being a feminist, I get offended by your title. There is nothing to laugh about it…being a blogger entails social responsibility also. We don’t write just for the sake of filling a space but we have to take into consideration also of people reading our blogs. I have worked fighting for human rights violation and I have seen the pain of women (victims of violence) who have undergone such trauma…it’s a pity that some people find something funny about it. Why not use a different title…something more suitable for it.

That “most husbands” line would have read as a joke even back when this ad ran (approximately the Late Neolithic). But don’t be too smug, Don Mills Diva — while it was thrown into the original ad as a gag and run here as a gag, it’s still literally true. Funny that it’s Heinz. Does Theresa know about this?
