I completely agree with you here Vered, its not funny. Its a little pathetic in my opinion…does the ‘artist’ have nothing more important to do than draw crude imitations of ample busted women for him/her and thier friends to snigger at? Do they have a partner? Would they feel the same way if it was a picture of them being passed around for a bit of shameless letching?? I don’t think so!

Lets be honest though, its not the picture that offends, its the act….the simple fact that a person spent time enough to produce this, all the while not thinking that it might be inappropriate or offensive. The woman drawn may not be real, but the message is loud and clear; naked woman = good entertainment. I don’t find this funny!

Ugh, I just went back and read some more comments. Im disguisted with you people, if theres anything to be offended over its this! yes there are “harmless jokes” but this IS NOT ONE OF THEM. placing a female is such a submissive position reinforces the idea of a weaker sex (when in actuality it refers to gender, not sex, but thats a different argument). and outrage DOES work. men (even at one point myself) continue with this behavior because that is all they know. if enough people, i dont care what sex, step forward and and enlighten them in an, er, active way then i assure you the world would be a different place. there is NO excuse for anything like tis and if you think theres is youre deluding yourself.

Tim Brownson you are completely missing the point. Weve reached a a state of affairs where equality is truly a necessity, and such images completely destroy any semblance of that so sought after goal. for example, what if there was a facebook graffiti of some black guy about to get whipped by a white master with the caption “forward to see what happens next”. Acts of misogyny, such as that picture above, are a mans attempt at domination over what he considers the “weaker sex”, just as slaver was the white mans domination over what he considered the “inferior race”. Actions such as these not only stunt our progress as society, but force it backwards.

By the way, I’m a guy. Real men support equality.

I think that being a ‘feminist’ is just a state of mind as anything else is. Anyone can take offense against this if they let themselves, just as Christians take offense from someone cursing ‘Jesus Christ!’ In my opinion this is just a bad drawing, and thats it. I didnt even think further into it than that until I read on and saw it was apparently a hot topic. Yes, some girls choose to be hookers, but everyone knows that one image doesnt portray all girls. I’m not like that and I am sure the majority of girls arent. And yes there are not as much images of men as there are of females doing stuff like this but lets face it, females have a much more beautiful body then men do with much more curves and such…and thats coming from a girl. So anyways to answer your question yes I think your being too serious about this image. Look at it for what it is, spam. Lets move on.

When a woman makes sweeping generalizations about half the human race, I can take that as another proof that women are no better than men.

I hate getting those funwall spam forwards too! Whether it’s offensive or not it’s just unnecessary garbage. It’s like, we have this amazing technology that connects us to people around the globe and we use it for what? Fart jokes and naked lady drawings. Sweet.
