There are always ppl out there who'd do anything for "publicity". Paris Hilton comes to mind. Cheap and shortlived. Just stay clear from em.

Carey Suante's last blog post..What Do Korean Films Mean to Northeasterners?

@ Lawrence Matthews: This is an interesting point of view. Maybe I should stop working so hard on avoiding conflicts!

Conflict is inherent in the human machine.

It's why our species survived so effectively.

Vered, I'm also a refuge from unintentional participation in a Blogging War.
Multiple times, I've been baited and invited to join in, and ran for the hills. I guess I'm a serial draft dodger.

I just discovered your blog (via your guest post on ZenHabits) today, but as a result of *this post* I'm subscribing. So there. Conflict Avoiders of the World, Unite!

I sooo agree that there is an over-abundance of pain in life as is. We really just need to give each other a chance to find the good stuff, and forget about the fighting. I have seen way too much fighting and misery, and it is usually pointless. It is always destructive.

Could the internet help save humanity by slowly bringing us together in conversation and idea sharing? I think it can. I am glad you decided to write about this. It's good to have these reminders.

I'm sorry that happened to you, I never understood the entire blogging war thing. I've had a few people jump to conclusions about things I have written instead of asking me they came up with their own assumptions. It sure is annoying. People jump to conclusions much too quickly. A shame.

I just discovered your blog (thanks to Monika) I'll be back.

Ugh! Yes, I think I actually read your comment - the funny thing is that I also didn't realize that the post was having to do with a blog war, and I either commented or thought about commenting (I suppose I better go check before I lose the five or less subscribers I have ;) ). It all seems so junior high. And it's horrible that you lost subscribers because of it. I agree, everyone *should* just be supportive of each other...

Kmommy's last blog post..Wordless Wednesday: What to do with a toybox
