Especially, when they feel that have more leeway at private backyard swimming pools. I have had to institute minimum rules for bikinis worn by my son's girlfriends when they visit our family swimming pool. 1) No g-strings (thongs are okay). 2) No sheer, mesh or see-thru. 3) No "sling-shots." 4) Bikini cups must be large enough to cover the bottom of the breast and the nipples. 5) Bikini tops must stay ON. I also don't know when everyone stopped calling them "bathing suits" and started saying, "swimsuits," unless it was a regional thing. I've had too many wardrobe mishaps to remember them all.
